K'MISSION motorcycle case in aluminium, black painted 44 LTR. Comfortably holds one modular helmet.
Featuring the world’s most widespread fixing system, MONOKEY®, which allows for a single lock to open and release the plate with the same key. Compatible with all Monokey plates, apart from those with the stop light kit connection.
Like the K'MISSION side case, it comes in two finishes: Natural and Black. The clean, minimal aesthetic pairs well with the rest of the range, and prioritises practicality of use.
As standard:
• WIRELEASE® SYSTEM: the cases are released from the plate by turning an external knob that is equipped with a cable system (Patented), placed directly under the Security Lock. It is not necessary to turn the knob to attach the cases.
• Two handles placed on the back of the top case, which are also integrated with the strong hinges on the lid, allowing the latter to open more fully without the need for classic retention cables: once opened, the lid is held in position in order to make packing/unpacking easier.
• Four belt-strap loops integrated into the structure of the lid, set into the contoured lid to give an elegant shape to the whole case.
• Set up to allow the attachment of a backrest (available for purchase as an optional) using screws, without the need to pierce or attach any component with adhesive;
• Rivets fitted with gaskets and sealed using silicone, to ensure watertightness even under the worst riding conditions.
• A series of grips built into the interior, integrated into the supporting structure, allowing loads to be attached to both the lid and bottom of the case.
Particular care has been devoted to ensuring the product is durable and repairable: the removal system, the stabilisers at the bottom, the base and other components can be easily replaced, greatly extending the useful life of the top case.
For its cases, KAPPA guarantees a degree of water
resistance equivalent to a heavy rain. In particular,
cases are tested with a special machine that simulates
rain with a flow rate of 20 ltr/min, that is the normative
condition that simulates vertical and lateral rain. The
test examines the case and verifies that it is protected
against water spray from all directions.
The maximum tolerance within which a KAPPA case can
be considered compliant with the regulation is 10cc.
However, under certain conditions of use, water may
penetrate inside the case. Examples of possible
water penetration are: the crossing of large puddles
(especially for side-cases), or very powerful water
sprays, such as washing with a pressure lance.
With regard to the care of your case, KAPPA strongly
advises against the use of pressure lances. The
company also recommends washing cases separately,
after removing them from the motorcycle.
In order to have an optimal level of waterproofing,
KAPPA offers in its catalogue a series of inner bags,
to be purchased separately, which also allow you to
comfortably transport your inner luggage without
having to detach the cases from the motorcycle.
